LEAK ON REDUCER PIPE
A raw water pump discharge pipe in a power plant is leaking. Firstly, the pipe surface was cleaned and roughened. Next, Seal Stic and SealXpert Stainless Steel Pipe Clip were applied around the leak area. Finally, Wrap Seal PLUS Fiberglass Repair Tape was applied to reinforce the repaired area.
STRAIGHT PIPE SECTION LEAK
A steam pipeline was leaking at the weld joint of a pipe straight section. SealXpert products were applied and the problem was solved successfully without shutdown.The leak area was cleaned of dirt and loose debris from the pipe surface. Thereafter, Teflon gasketing material was applied onto the leak area along with a sheet metal and SealXpert Stainless Steel Pipe Clip.Once the leak was arrested, SealXpert Repair Putty was applied onto the entire affected area. Thereafter, Wrap Seal PLUS Fiberglass Repair Tape was wrapped around the repair area to reinforce the elbow leak area.

LEAK AT THREADED JOINT
A hydrogen gas pipe in a power plant was leaking at the threaded joint. The cold repair works was completed using SealXpert products without shutdown.Firstly, the leak area was identified and cleaned of any paint or loose debris from the pipe surface. Thereafter, Seal Stic Quick Cure Epoxy Stic was applied onto the leak area with the help of a sheet metal and SealXpert Stainless Steel Pipe Clip.Upon curing, another layer of Seal Stic Quick Cure Epoxy Stic was applied onto the affected area. Next, SealXpert Repair Putty was applied onto the entire pipe circumference and flange area. Finally, Wrap Seal PLUS Fiberglass Repair Tape was wrapped around the repair area as tightly and evenly as possible.

CORROSION ON 60” CARBON STEEL PIPE
A 60” seawater intake cooling pipeline to a power plant was having leak and corrosion issues.SealXpert repair putty and Wrap Seal PLUS corrosion repair system was applied together to perform repair and rehabilitation of the splash zone pipeline. First, SealXpert repair putty was applied onto the affected area and Wrap Seal PLUS fiberglass repair tape was then applied to provide reinforcement to the pipeline.
